Objectives – The overall objective of the project is the protection of the environment and natural resources as well as a contribution to the mitigation of greenhouse gases resulting from improper management of municipal solid waste in the regions of Kakheti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti.

Specific Objectives:

• Development of  feasibility sduty reports for the integrated solid waste management concepts in the regions of  Kakheti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
• Selection of appropriate sites for treatment plants, sanitary landfill and transfer stations in the selection regions
